Our Part-time Preschool Program is a half-day program serving multi-aged  children between the ages of 2.9 months to 5 years. It is designed to enhance the childrens social, emotional, and cognitive development by providing a variety of developmentally appropriate activities.

 The nine-month program will follow the public school calendar year.  (see Part-time Preschool Holiday Closures)  The hours are 9-1:30 daily, with the option of a 2, 3, or 5-day schedule.  

 The Center will provide a mid-morning snack as well as lunch.  The children should arrive at 9 a.m.  If your child will not be in,  please call the Center. 

 Children need to be picked up promptly by 1:30 p.m.

Schedule

9:00 - 9:15 Doors open.  Children arrive, quiet activities.                 
9:15-9:30 Group Circle.
9:30-10:30   Activities and snack/clean up.  
10:30-11:00  Outside.  
11:00-11:15   Show & Tell/story time.  
11:15-11:45   Open areas music, computer,  science, blocks/dramatic play.  
11:45-12:30 Clean up, wash for lunch/lunch.  
12:30-1:15 Outside.  
1:15-1:30 Goodbye time
1:30 Dismissal

  ***PLEASE NOTE: 

  THE CHILDREN ARE PERMITTED TO GO TO THE BATHROOM WHENEVER THEY NEED TO.  THEY JUST NEED TO LET A TEACHER KNOW WHEN THEY ARE GOING.   THEY ARE ALSO PERMITTED TO GET A DRINK OF WATER WHENEVER THEY WANT, AS LONG AS THEY LET A TEACHER KNOW.
